Who is lying kotor

Took me awhile to figure it out but you need to talk to Bolook and Discuss a murder. Then you say that Rickard lied.

This will not conclude your investigation, instead will allow you to question them further. I think the frustration here is that for some of, the droid has exactly 2 lines: 1 About the body it died 3 hrs ago , 2 What are the surroundings like? And nothing about the people. Upon talking to both Handon and Rickard again, you won't learn much new. But by talking to the droid, the final piece of the puzzle comes to you - the blood on the gun wasn't the victim's.

Although the blood has been degraded due to a bacteria present on the gun's handle, the droid can verify it definitely was not the Calder's, the victim. Talk to Bolook once more. When he assumes that the blood was the victim's, tell him that he is mistaken, and that it's actually Handon's. The proof, tell Bolook, is that he is injured on his side, and is holding his side!

Finally, he'll ask who is guilty? You answer by saying that they are BOTH guilty! Borook tells you it's a bold conclusion, but the right one indeed. They both went out to kill Calder that day. Handon got to him first, and the person who Rickard saw in the distance he thought was Calder, but it was Handon!

Hence Handon has a blaster wound in his side! For deciding the case exactly how I described it above, you'll get over 1, experience points! That's well worth the time it took to solve this crime if I do say so myself. Going across the bridge and to the opening beyond, you'll fight a slew more of Kath Hounds. Comb the area for all of the Kath Hounds in the region so you can get the maximum experience available to you.

Then work your way into the adjacent area, where you'll meet similar resistance. When you finally beat the Kath Hounds as soon as you enter this area, head rightward. Once here, you'll find a group of Mandalorians and Kuros around a speeder. Attack them. The Mandalorian will put up a stiff resistance as they often do , but the Kuros should be no problem for you what-so-ever. When they're all dead, grab the goods they drop from their corpses.

Head rightward now, and fight more Kath Hounds. Then go rightward s'more, and across a bridge. This'll bring you in front of a house.

What you want to do is circle around to the entrance out of the house area to your right. Once through this, work your way northward and then eastward. You'll find a little alcove with a Dark Jedi roaming about.

This Dark Jedi's name is Juhani, and she instantly paralyzes your two party members and wants a one-on-one lightsaber duel with you. Equip your lightsaber and take her on. She's not too difficult and if you unequipped Bastila of it, you'll have her double-sided lightsaber, which is stronger than your own lightsaber When she's near death, she'll begin to talk to you again.

This is when you need to make a decision. Kill her But if you can convince her that the Jedi Council will forgive her for going to the Dark Side, she'll run off and you'll actually be able to have her in your party later in the game! Kill her if you want, but realize that you won't be able to have her in your party later on. You know the right thing to do here! Once she's run off to ask forgiveness of the Order or once you've killed her, teleport yourself to the Ebon Hawk, which will bring you right back in front of the Jedi Council building.

Go talk to Zhar Lestin within right away, who will congratulate you on a job well done and will bestow upon you the title of Padawan! And with that done, go talk to the Yoda-like guy in the adjacent room, named Vandar Tokare. He'll tell you that the place you and Bastila saw in the dream actually exist. These ruins are outside of the confines of the city, and you might have seen them enroute to finding and killing Juhani. If you didn't, they are easy to find Last Edited: 24 Jul am.

When Zhar Lestin says, "There is no emotion When Zhar Lestin says, "There is no ignorance When Zhar Lestin says, "There is no passion When Zhar Lestin says, "There is no chaos When Zhar Lestin says, "There is no death Your inner peace and harmony will show them your sincerity. Juhani: [Success] I I thank you, master Jedi. Juhani: I Juhani: I will return to the Council, then. I shall submit myself to their judgement, and hope that they will forgive me.

Juhani: If only there was some way I could make this up to you Juhani: Again, I thank you. I am sure I will hear great things about you in the future. You're right, maybe I should. I wasn't really ordered to kill you. Juhani: [Failure] Lies! Leave me and come back when you have the courage to finish your task! Juhani: Thinking of using technicalities to do the deed and ease your conscience?

Juhani: Act or begone! Why are you even thinking like that? Maybe you shouldn't have been a Jedi, then. Standards cannot apply to everyone. Juhani: [Failure] You think compliments will convince me I didn't kill my master? Leave me to my agony! Juhani: Why? Because I am right, that's why! I can see the truth in your eyes as well! Do not look at me again! Juhani: They came to me! They sought me out! So it is their failure that I have fallen. Come back when you have something more meaningful to say.

Juhani: What?? What foolishness is this? Standards are MADE to apply to everyone. And if I cannot measure up to them Well then, I am no one at all… Leave me. Juhani: I do not know what to do.

Now that I have caused such suffering to my Master and those around me Life is a learning experience. Your master knew the risks. Life is suffering. Juhani: [Failure] It is! It is! Juhani: But learning does not have to end in death!

Juhani: She knew I would be headstrong, but she also thought I would adhere to the light! Instead, I betrayed her trust and fell prey to my own inner darkness. Juhani: Life is suffering, yes Juhani: It was I who hurt her, I who killed her! Her suffering is my fault alone! Leave me to my pain! The Council may forgive a lot. Your Master surely won't be forgiving you. Yet forgiveness must be asked. Juhani: [Failure] The Council may forgive a lot But not this. Juhani: The Council may forgive a lot You monster!

To mock my grief that way! Leave me at once, lest I strike you down! Juhani: And denied! No, I cannot! And so here I will stay. Leave me to my hopelessness! Juhani: I am lost! Even though I would repent, there is nowhere left for me to go! Juhani: How can I ever face the Council now with what I have done? It is hopeless! It could not be possible that they would accept me back It might be.

But it's worth a shot. I do not know. I am lost! Nemo: I hear you managed to return Juhani to the Order. I regret not being able to tell you more, but some things you must see with your own eyes. Belaya: You have done a great thing. One of our own had strayed, but you have returned Juhani to the Order. For this you deserve the highest praise.

Vrook Lamar: I must congratulate you on your actions. You have saved Juhani and brought her back into the Order, and have given us all great hope for your future success. May the Force be with you as you continue your training. Vandar Tokare: It is good to see Juhani has returned to the way of the light.

You are to be commended for your role in this. Your actions give us great hope for the future. Go to Master Zhar and inform him that Juhani has returned to us. I think you may be nearing the end of your apprenticeship. Juhani: I must give you my thanks. Because of you, I am once again welcome within the Jedi Order. Have you spoken to the Council? Did you learn anything more about Quatra?

Juhani: I Have spoken to the Council, and they have helped me see the truth. The truth about myself, and the truth of my actions. Juhani: Quatra's injuries were not so severe as I first believed.

I was foolish to believe I could harm a Master such as she with my The fierce confrontation between us was nothing more than a part of my training. Quatra wanted me to understand the threat of the dark side, to see how easy it was to fall from the path of light.

That's pretty harsh The ways of the Jedi are strange indeed. So where is Quatra now? Juhani: Quatra's methods may seem strange, but I trust her wisdom. The lesson has been difficult, but I am better because of it. Humility is never easy to teach, but now I truly understand my own limitations. Canderous: You can't expect everything to get handed to you on a silver platter. Juhani: After our last battle, Quatra had nothing left to teach me. I needed time alone to explore the turmoil of my own spirit.

Only then was I ready to follow a guide — you — back to the light. When I left, Quatra knew her work with me was done. There are other disciples who need training throughout the galaxy, and she could not stay to see if I passed this most difficult trial. I'm just glad I could help. Juhani: With your help, I have passed this difficult trial. The Council now feels I am ready to continue with my training, though they have asked me to wait here for the time being.

Mission: Hey, I'm glad to see you're not getting hung up on all this. The past is in the past, you know? Carth: First the Jedi trick you into becoming an enemy, then they welcome you back as a friend. I can't say I approve of their training methods. Zaalbar: You have been given another chance to prove yourself. I hope you use it well. Canderous: Giving you a second chance like this is a clear sign of weakness.

Sometimes I find it hard to believe the Jedi could defeat my people in battle. Bastila: This has been a painful lesson, Juhani, but it seems you have learned it well. I am certain you will be a credit to the Order. Juhani: I do not know what the Council has in store for me, but I will trust in the Force and the way of the Jedi to help me through whatever is to come.

It seems that redemption can come even to those who have fallen so far. Nemo: Juhani has been slain, I hear. You fought with her in the grove? She attacked me. She had been turned to the dark side! She deserved to die. Nemo: Even in the darkest heart there is hope for rebirth. Anyone can be turned back to the light. Nemo: It should not have had to go that far You would do well to mind Juhani's tragic example and not to let yourself fall into the sway of the dark side.

Vrook Lamar: I have heard what you have done, and how Juhani has been slain. I had hoped that this would not have to come to pass. Could you find nothing in Juhani that could be redeemed? I could not see a way to save her. Vrook Lamar: I am skeptical of your methods and your intentions. But if nothing could be done, them that is the way of things. Vrook Lamar: [Success] I am skeptical of your methods and your intentions.

Vrook Lamar: Keep in mind the danger of the dark side, lest you fall into its grasp. Vandar Tokare: It is most regrettable that Juhani could not be saved. We in the Council had high hopes for her in the future. In every heart there is some means of redemption. Could you find none in Juhani?

I couldn't see a way to save her. Vandar Tokare: Perhaps that was the case. It is most regrettable, indeed. Vandar Tokare: [Success] Perhaps that was the case. Vandar Tokare: Heed her example: all are susceptible to the lure of the dark side.

We must always remain vigilant against it. Go to Master Zhar and inform him that the Grove has been cleansed. Belaya: Juhani was a We spent many nights together alone under the stars. That will never happen again, thanks to you. Curse the Council for sending you, of all people, to speak to her! Could you have done nothing else?! She had it coming, trust me.

Should you be talking like that? I did my best. I'm sorry. Why didn't you go to her, then? Belaya: She had it coming, did she?

She had it coming?! Belaya: Do not presume to tell me how I should speak of anything! They should have known better than to entrust such a task to you! Belaya: Pardon me if I find your apology rather disingenuous. Juhani meant nothing to you, and the Council should have known better than to entrust her life to you. Belaya: Why? Because the Council believed that my closeness to her might do more harm than good And look what has happened.

Belaya: The Juhani I knew deserved more than this! She deserved more from the Council, and more from you! Did it even occur to you that Juhani might have been saved? That she might be worth saving? I should kill you for what you've done!

And yet I can't, can I? I am a Jedi, and we are sworn to protect all The very thought of the Council I'd like to ask you some questions.

Vandar Tokare: A Jedi must ever be seeking knowledge. What is it you wish to know? What happened to Belaya? Vandar Tokare: We do not know. She was training here until your unfortunate incident with Juhani, then she simply disappeared We would like any word of her you may bring.

I do not believe she has died, or fallen prey to beasts, but I worry that she may have done something rash. She had always been close to Juhani, and her death may have hit Belaya Is there anything else you wish to ask? Vrook Lamar: The Jedi Belaya would seem to have disappeared. She had a lesson scheduled with Master Zhar but did not show up. I have heard someone say that she had been seen leaving the Enclave, but I do not know where she would have gone.

If you meet her, you may want to ask her why she left. We do not force anyone to stay here, so do not think to take that route. Is there anything else, then? Zhar Lestin: You have done well, my pupil. The ancient grove has been purified, and Juhani's journey down the dark path has been halted. Because of you she walks once more in the light. But though she was saved, do not dismiss what happened to her.

Juhani is both dedicated and true to the ideals of the Order, yet she was still vulnerable to the dark side. As are we all. She struck her master in anger during training, and injured her greatly. But it was Quatra's choice to test Juhani this way, and it seems to have made its point.

Juhani has been redeemed, and you have passed your final test. Zhar Lestin: You have cleansed the grove of its dark taint, but at great cost.

Juhani was a most promising student and could one day have been strong in the Force. Do not dismiss what happened to her, however. Juhani was both dedicated and true to the ideals of the Order, yet she was still vulnerable to the lure of the dark side.

Keep this in mind always in the future, and do not forsake the path of the light. Zhar Lestin: Congratulations, apprentice. Or should I say congratulations, Padawan? You have proven yourself worthy of joining the Jedi.

Let me be the first to welcome you as a full-fledged member of our Order! Zhar Lestin: I have nothing left to teach you, Padawan, though a Jedi is ever learning. Even the Masters know their training is but in its infancy. Now is the time for you to seek wisdom outside the training chambers. The lessons that yet await you are to be found beyond the walls of this academy.

You should speak to the Council, Padawan. Now that the first stage of your training is complete I am certain they would be eager to have you aid us in our struggle against Darth Malak and the Sith. Vrook Lamar: For good or ill, you are now a true Padawan.

The time has come for you and Bastila to investigate the dream you shared. The secrets to stopping Malak may lie hidden within the ancient Dantooine ruins you both saw in your visions.

Belaya: Master Zhar tells me you have successfully completed the tests, and I even see you have constructed your own lightsaber. You should be proud of your accomplishment… but never forget that you still have much to learn.

As your power grows you will constantly face temptations to slip to the dark side. This is the eternal struggle of the Jedi. Deesra: I hear that Master Zhar feels you are now ready to become a full fledged member of our Order. Congratulations, apprentice. Or should I say Padawan? It brings me great joy to see another who has joined our Order, particularly in these trying times.

The path of the light is a difficult one to walk, and many have fallen into the darkness. But I am certain you will not be one of those. So, Padawan — what can I do for you? I want to ask you some questions. Deesra: If you have questions you should speak with Master Dorak. He is the Chronicler of the Academy here on Dantooine, and is far more knowledgeable than I. I'll be going now. Deesra: Then may the Force be with you. Bolook: Apprentice, your arrival here is well timed. Bolook: Padawan, your arrival here is well timed.

What do you want? Bolook: I am Bolook, a Jedi from the Enclave. I was sent by the Jedi Council to investigate a killing that took place here a few hours ago. Communication does not pose a problem, as both the suspects and I speak Basic and Huttese.

I was going to handle this case myself, but now that you are here this could be an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate how well you have been learning your lessons at the academy.

Though you are not yet a full Jedi, perhaps you could assist me in sorting out the truth from the lies. Sorry, I do not have time for this. Bolook: We Jedi are often called on to make judgements in cases such as this. I think exploring this case could be an important part of your training, though I will not force you to participate. If you are not willing to assist me, then I will bring the suspects to the Enclave and handle this myself.

But are you certain you wish to pass up this opportunity to test yourself? I don't have time to assist you. Get out of my way, worm-head!

Bolook: I regret that you feel that way. I must remove myself and the suspects to the Enclave then. After consuming drinks there, the two got into a drunken altercation, noticed by the municipal authorities. The Jedi Enclave on the planet was notified, and a Jedi named Tooka was dispatched to break up the fight. Concurrently, Nettic had been engaging in an affair with the wife of a man named Handon Guld.

Nettic and Guld repeatedly rented a speeder together, and following their time together, Guld discovered the affair Nettic had with his wife. Enraged, he plotted to murder Nettic. At the same time, Lusoff planned to kill Nettic, feeling cheated out of money.

Several weeks after the destruction of the Outer Rim ecumenopolis world of Taris at the hands of the Sith Empire , [3] Nettic was out in an Ancient Grove near the Jedi Enclave during a cloudy morning. Guld intercepted him, and shot him in the back with a blaster. However, at the same time, Lusoff was also planning to kill Nettic. Seeing Guld standing there, Lusoff took the shot with his hunting rifle , shooting Guld in the side of his abdomen.

When he ran out of the brush, Lusoff injured his leg , while Guld dropped his blaster and called the authorities, beleiving he was about to be killed. A Jedi Master named Bolook was assigned to the scene, and filled the role of an investigator.
