For the rest, it'a a bugged game, but the more often the bugs are funny. The only bug really unpleasant I've still experimented, is a crash that makes the game stop working, but i'ts quite rare generally, I can play several hours without a problem. I also have an Intel HD graphics It's seem I had to also Install one of the Un-official patch to prevent the game from crashing when leaving the vault.
There are two versions of the unofficial patch, the original one is 4 years old. It's easier than editing your own fallout. The patch also has a huge list of fixes. If you don't have fallout GOTY though, you have to be careful on the installer page to specify that you don't have DLC, otherwise your game will lock on start.

Both of these are incredibly weak when it comes to onboard GPUs, in part I suspect the memory bandwidth between system ram impacts high resolution gaming.
I saw a nvidia m with fallout 3 on high settings p and it was bouncing close to 30fps. IMO the nvidia x20m series of chips have been kind of pointless because they are almost the same amount of power as what ever CPU was in the laptop at the time.
So even budget GPUs have their limits on old games. Otherwise you will need to nock it down a notch or two. I don't mind p. I juat want it to run smoothly. High settings would be fine. Guest Guest.
